Studying tips!
1. Study concepts first, then study facts.
Studying concepts before facts is important because concepts give you the big picture and a clear framework for understanding. When you grasp the underlying principles, the facts that follow become more meaningful and easier to remember. Without concepts, facts are just scattered pieces of information with little connection, but when tied to a concept, they gain context and purpose. In short, concepts provide the “why,” while facts provide the “what,” and learning in that order makes studying more effective.
2. Go over the material you’re going to learn before the teacher teaches it.
You can become more familiar with the material and get your mind ready to take in new information by reviewing it before the teacher teaches it. You already know the fundamental concepts, important terms, or questions when you preview the subject, making it simpler to follow and comprehend the teacher's explanation. Learning is accelerated and deepened because you are reiterating what you have already seen rather than hearing everything for the first time. Additionally, this enables you to pinpoint the concepts you don't fully grasp, enabling you to focus more intently in class or formulate more insightful questions. To put it briefly, previewing the content increases retention and comprehension while transforming you into an active learner.
3. Listen carefully in lecture and ask questions on things you still don’t know or understand.
Paying close attention during a lecture guarantees that you will understand the primary concepts and explanations straight from the instructor, which frequently explains things that textbooks or notes by themselves are unable to. You can better grasp the topic's flow and see the connections between various points by paying close attention. Asking questions about things you don't understand or know is equally important, though, as it prevents learning gaps and immediately clears up any confusion. Additionally, it demonstrates your active participation and gives the teacher more information to elaborate on. You can maximize each lecture and improve your comprehension by fusing careful listening with intelligent questioning.
4. Steer clear of distractions - avoid sitting next to friends if you know they will distract you.
Avoiding distractions is key to maintaining your attention and maximizing your study time. If you know that sitting near your friends will tempt you to talk or distract you, it’s best to find a place to sit that will allow you to maintain your focus. Even minor distractions take your attention away and make it difficult to remain engaged in a lesson or retain information. If you minimize distractions, you provide yourself with the best chance of obtaining a clear understanding of the material presented and using your time productively. In summary, avoiding distractions is a means of protecting your attention so you learn in the best way possible.
5. Take notes as you listen (colorcode your notes).
Writing notes while you listen helps you stay focused and remember information, as writing forces you to process what is being taught. Notes are better than trying to memorize everything, as they give you a personal reference point to revisit. Additionally, colorcoding improves how you take notes, as it helps you organize thoughts, highlight important information, and understand main ideas versus supporting details. This not only makes the notes easier to study but also allows your brain to pick up on patterns and connections quicker. In other words, note taking with colorcoding transforms passive listening into active learning and helps you understand the lesson better.

How to study Math!
0.Study in advance
1.Take good notes while studying (concepts and facts - organized) > explain the concept if possible after studying.
1.1. Study the concept and write notes about the concept in your own words.
1.2. If you get lost or can't grasp the concept of it, mark it. (when you don't know why shit happened) Then, understand the fundamentals/concept to get into the next step.
1.3. Make a set of the facts and the concepts on your notebook. (use Quizlet if needed/possible)
2. Memorise(quiz yourself) it and master it then review over and over again and use the feynman technique to understand the concept more:
1. explain the topic in simple language "the simplest the better." (pretend to give a lecture or write it out) no jargons.
2. find your trouble spots when you're explaning.
3. review and study the trouble spots.
4. simplify it more.
5. repeat.
3. Do questions/problems a lot, even doing the same problem again and again.
In mathematics, it is widely recognized that practice is the most effective way to learn and that the completion of many questions, even of the same question, will assist you in mastering the methods and steps required to solve problems. Each time you work through a problem, you increase the strength of your understanding of the concept and condition your brain to recognize the patterns in problems and problem-solving more quickly and confidently. Repetition actually increases your confidence because what you found difficult initially becomes much clearer and even natural after having practiced it. By practicing many problems, you will not only commit procedures to memory but will also develop problem-solving skills and be prepared to address new and more difficult problems. In summary, regular practice is the single most effective way to become proficient in mathematics.

6 STEPS TO INTERVIEW SUCCESS
Step 1: Identify the job requirements (research the position you're applying for)
The first step towards being successful in an interview is determining exactly what the employer expects from the job. Prior to the interview, take some time to read through the job description slowly and note the skills, qualifications and responsibilities the employer is seeking. You should also research the company mission, values and work culture to effectively demonstrate how your characteristics make you a viable candidate for the position. Careful preparation will provide you insight into the employers' expectations, while also enabling you to emphasize your talents in the areas the employer prioritizes. By knowing the requirements, you can comfortably and accurately connect your experiences and achievements to the role, and make a memorable impression.
Step 2: Predict possible questions
After you’re clear on the job description, your next step is to think about the types of questions you could be asked. Although job interviews are often used to evaluate your technical skills, they also play a role in assessing your personality. Consider some of the more general questions you might get in any type of interview, such as “Tell me about yourself,” “Why are you interested in this job?," or “What are your strengths and weaknesses?” In addition to these general interview types of questions, you should look at the job description and consider questions related to that position, such as specific problem solving situations and technical challenges within the position. Preparing your thoughtful answers ahead of time will increase your comfort level and confidence, and give you the opportunity to define your history before someone asks you a question that you’ve never expected. Practicing questioning and emphasizing your experiences and accomplishments is a great way to be clear and contextual in how to present yourself.
Step 3: Resume that demonstrates your capabilities and customized cover letters
A solid resume and cover letter are important assets for making a good first impression before even walking into the interview. First, your resume should demonstrate your skills, experience, and successes that fit the qualifications for that job in order to show the employer you have the capabilities they want. You will want to stay away from potential pitfalls of a generic resume, so please make an effort to tailor your resume so that your most relevant qualifications will jump out at the employer. Along with your resume, the cover letter allows you to demonstrate your interest in the position and how your experience makes you a fit for that position. When you are able to align both your resume and cover letter to the specific position and company, you demonstrate attention to detail and interest in the position, which furthers your opportunity to move forward in the hiring process.
Step 4: Mock interview
Engaging in mock interviews is an effective means of helping you feel more confident and perform better. Mock interviews essentially simulate the real experience of a real interview, where you practice answering typical and job specific questions in an organized environment. This situation allows you to hone your responses, practice your body language, and work on being articulate and confident when speaking. This, in turn, provides you with the opportunity to receive constructive feedback on areas that you may not be aware of, such as nervous habits as well as failure to respond clearly to questions. By practicing ahead of time, you will reduce your anxiety and feel more prepared, making it easier to present yourself professionally during your actual interview.
Step 5: Know the location and be punctual
An important but simple step to being successful in an interview is arriving on time. To save yourself from worrying about being late and stressing yourself out, know where you are going, how you are getting there, and how long it will take you to get there. If you are being interviewed online, do a test run to make sure your technology is working ahead of time. In general, it’s best to arrive slightly earlier because being on time shows respect for your interviewer’s time and professionalism on your part. Overall, if you know the logistics ahead of time, it will allow you to focus on the actual interview rather than worrying about being late, while leaving a positive first impression at the interview.
Step 6: Relax and Be Confident
The last piece to being successful in an interview is to enter the conversation with calmness and confidence. It's normal to have feelings of nervousness, just work to manage those feelings by deep breathing, straightening your posture, and focusing on all the preparation you’ve done. Remember that confidence is knowing that you are competent and talented and that you have value to add to the situation. The interview is not just about the employer determining if you fit their organizational culture; it also gives you a chance to understand if this is a culture you want to be apart of, too. If you enter the interview calm, speak clearly, and are truly enthusiastic about the position, you will show confidence and leave your interviewers with a positive lasting impression.
